The NGO ‘Parallel-Silistra’, together with its Bulgarian and Romanian partners, performed one more information day from the joint Campaign, launched by the project “Entrepreneurship for Youth Labor Mobility”, financed by INTERREG 2014-2020 Program Romania-Bulgaria. The project aims to improve the employability of young people in the labor market and to make them more mobile when looking for work in the cross-border region.
The event for the presentation of the project and the learning platform took place on 6 March 2018 in the conference hall in the city of Rousse. It was aimed at promoting the joint Bulgarian-Romanian educational scheme “Entrepreneurship without Borders” and encouraging the participation of other schools in it. This model offers not only training in entrepreneurship, but also foreign language learning (Bulgarian /Romanian language), as well as practical exchange activities and cooperation with the business community in the cross-border region.
During the information day, the Coordinator Diana Bebenova officially presented the cross-border training companies, set up by the ‘Atanas Burov’ Vocational School of Economics in Silistra and the Economics School in Calarasi. These companies include 150 Bulgarian and Romanian students, who are working together to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
After the official part, the Coordinator Diana Bebenova provided individual consultations for registration in the learning platform and use of the modules to all visitors. She also met with representatives of the Labor Office in Rousse and teachers from schools in Rousse and V. Tarnovo to establish a Network of Schools on the joint Bulgarian-Romanian educational scheme “Entrepreneurship without Borders”.
